Even Dear Abby'd say the same...

blueyedmaiden, because it's easier than dealing with actual thoughts or feelings right now:
1)As a child, what did you imagine that you would grow up to be?
Wanted to be a teacher, mostly. Thought for a minute about being a physical therapist. The jobs that seemed to exist in the world for me were doctors and teachers, and I was more of a reading/writing than math/science person, so, teacher.
2)As an adult, what do you want to be when you grow up?
A mama and homemaker and homeschooler. I want to cook and keep house and raise and teach children.
3)What are you doing right now to get to the places you want yourself to be eventually?
*sigh* Trying not to give up. Supporting myself until I find the right people to be in that situation with, I guess. Not sure what else I can/should do. Open to advice. Oh yeah...also planning on getting fully Montessori certified, but due to the nature of the training, that kinda requires me to find the situation first.
4)Do you want to have children? How many? At what age do you want to start breeding?
I want to be a mama. I don't want or need to make the babies. I would love to adopt or find a family with babies already. As soon as I have a stable home and finances.
5)What is your title at your job? What do you actually do there?
Communications Specialist. I do data entry into a mailing list database and generate sub-lists and labels for mailings. I occasionally translate things into or interpret Spanish, for which I'm not adequately paid. I also decorate my wall, get fed snacks, enterain my coworkers and paint my furniture.
6)Do you think that the republicans will manage to manipulate the system to win the presidential election in 2004?
I actually don't. I think this will be a big backlash election.
7)If you could have one technological advance be created, that doesn't exist now, what would it be? Can you see this technology being created, and if so, when?
COMPLETELY foolproof, idiot-proof birth control. And I have no idea.
